About CaveMax
If you are reading this, it is not because we placed a big, fancy ad in a glossy dive magazine or put banner ads on Scuba Board. That’s because we still adhere to the principle that cave diving is not for every diver. If you are here, it is because you specifically sought us out — most likely on a recommendation from one of our past students.
One thing you will never hear us say is that either I or the small group of instructors I teach with are somehow “better” than anyone else. What we can tell you is that, even with the overall quality of Cave Diver training declining, there are still professional cave diving educators who truly care about quality. We’re proud to be among them.
Should you choose to learn from us, we can promise you this:
- We won’t cut corners. Your training will exceed the standards of all of the organizations we represent (NSS-CDS, TDI, IANTD and others).
- We won’t guarantee that you’ll pass. Your Cave Diver rating is something you will have to earn. (But, then again, do you really want to be in a cave with a diver who was simply given a Cave Diver card?)
- You’ll learn from an instructor whose perspective goes beyond just one geographic area. Our motto is Dive the World…Under Ground. And, even though we are based in the heart of north-central Florida’s cave diving country, we regularly teach and dive caves in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, the blue holes of Andros and the little-known labyrinths that dot the southern edge of the Dominican republic.
My name is Max Kuznetsov and you can call or contact me any time with any questions.
